Welcome!

Dieters Downfall - Karyn Granrud

It’s me, Karyn!

Hi everyone,

I’m Karyn from Pint Sized Baker and I’m starting a new baking journey.

I have really enjoyed my fun adventures on Pint Sized Baker, but I am ready to grow a bit, venture out  and do more challenging baking. Don’t worry, all the fun and easy creations will be coming at ya from Pint Sized Baker – that’s not going anywhere.

Here at Dieter’s Downfall, I want to bake as much of the recipes as possible. I want to bake my own bread, make my own cheese, and learn how to make a killer crust. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed with a recipe, that I never attempt it because of the list of ingredients and many steps involved. I think most of us are like that.

So here, I plan on tackling those recipes… just one day at a time.

Over the course of two or three posts, we are going to make something simple each day and then put it all together for something spectacular for your dinner party.

I’m going to do my best to make everything from scratch. No pre-packaged ingredients here if I can help it. No processed food filled with fillers, preservatives, and additives. Don’t get the wrong idea, this is not a “healthy” food site. Just basic sugar, flour and cream. LOTS of cream!!

I hope that you’ll join me in this adventure and bake along. If you have any suggestions on items you’d like to tackle, I’d love to hear them. Please send me an e-mail at [email protected]

I can also be found on my Facebook page!

Thanks so much!

- Karyn
